Junior AMVETS are the sons and daughters (under age 18) of AMVETS, Auxiliary, and Sons members. As a nationwide organization, “the Juniors” (as they are sometimes called) undertake projects—such as visiting a homeless shelter—that benefit veterans and communities alike.

At Post 49, we volunteer at the parent organizations projects and do a lot of our own fundraising and volunteering, too. Our projects include, but are not limited to, VA, Honor Flight, St Jude’s, John Tracey Clinic, North Cedar School, Retrieving Freedom.
